YOU ARE INVITED TO Agile Coach Camp Muldersdrift (7-9 February 2025)
Agile Coaching as a profession has officially been around for only 15 years. And right now it seems to be under fire. Organisations are removing or reducing coach positions, agile coaches are struggling to find work, and many are looking for other opportunities. Scrum masters seem to be in a slightly better position, but some are also struggling to find the next position.
What is going on?
We know that the conditions that led to agile coaching as a function might have changed. Yes, Agile is a household word – most organisations are using some form of iterative and incremental development in their software divisions. But us Agilists, coaches and Scrum Masters alike, know that going through the Agile motions form a very small part of what we do.
Our real work lies elsewhere. And it has not gone away simply because AI arrived!
How do we make that real, though? How do we continue to bring about the change so very much needed in the world of work?
Bring your insight, your experience, your heart and your wisdom and reimagine Agile Coaching with us!
We hope to see you at Agile Coach Camp in Muldersdrift on 7-9 February 2025.
The theme for the camp will be...

What's the agenda?
Agile Coach Camp is a practitioner-led conference focused on peer-to-peer learning and exploration. It’s your conference, so there won’t be an agenda until you arrive! We use the OpenSpace format, which means you, as a participant, will determine the topics and questions that you want to discuss – in real time. We create the agenda collaboratively, and everyone can join the small group discussions that interest them. If you’re looking for a conference where you can sit back and listen to expert lectures, this isn’t it.
There are no speakers, only participants. You don’t need to be an expert to propose a topic or ask a question at Agile Coach Camp. You are simply inviting people into a conversation with you – people who share your passion for the topic or question you bring up. It’s like a lively coffee break where you can freely join and leave conversations as you please, but with a structure that helps you find discussions that align with your interests.

Venue
This is a residential camp and we have chosen a venue that physically creates the space for ideas to be born: Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge
Nestled on the outskirts of Johannesburg, the lodge offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, without the need for a long journey. Cradle Moon is about an hour from central Johannesburg/OR Tambo International airport and 40 minutes from central Centurion.
Accommodation consists of two-bedroom thatched rondawels, fitted with three-quarter beds. Each rondawel has a tea and coffee station (no fridge). The spacious en-suite bathroom offers shower facilities. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and bedroom help to keep the cold at bay. Limited wi-fi is available in the rooms. Each rondawel has a covered patio on which guests can enjoy their sundowners while watching a glorious African sunset.
You are welcome to bring along your loved ones. Please indicate this on the registration form when booking.
If you have any questions or need to make alternate arrangements, feel free to reach out to us.
